Process Thermal Images

WebODM Lightning can process Long-Wave Infrared (LWIR) images for creating temperature maps.

To create a thermal map, from the cloud interface:

  • Press Select Images and GCP
  • Select your thermal images
  • From Options select Multispectral, or make sure that the radiometric-calibration option is set to camera. This is required to obtain temperature values.

For DJI drones, calibration parameters such as emissivity, humidity and ambient temperature can be adjusted via the thermal-* options.

Making Temperature Measurements​

Once a thermal map has been generated, you can use the Point annotation tool to make temperature measurements.
