Process Thermal Images
WebODM Lightning can process Long-Wave Infrared (LWIR) images for creating temperature maps.
With the exception of DJI drones (see below), the process to create a thermal map is simple. From the cloud interface:
- Press Select Images and GCP
- Select your thermal images
- From Options select Multispectral.

DJI drones use a proprietary format for storing thermal data. In order to process thermal images from these drones:
- Preprocess the images with our Thermal Tools Software
- Process the images without the Multispectral option. Leave the defaults, or make sure that you are not selecting the radiometric-calibration option.
Making Temperature Measurements
Once a thermal map has been generated, you can use the Point annotation tool to make temperature measurements.
